Age Group: 6 weeks – 18 months with care giver
Exercising with your baby creates a bond between you both, providing you with
an activity to share that fosters positive self-esteem. It also allows a mom to
suffer less from the baby blues—and Mom’s cheery disposition is certainly a plus
for the entire family! Having a baby in the house can sometimes feel overwhelming,
and maintaining physical fitness may the last thing on a new mother’s mind; yet
if you were exercising before and during pregnancy, now is the perfect time to
get started! Don’t want to take time away from your little one? You and your baby
can even exercise together!
This class is designed to balance and restore the physical needs of the new mother
and baby. This is a great way to get back into shape while meeting other new
mothers in the community. Come meet other new parents, dance, sing, bounce on
a fit ball, play with a parachute enjoy a bit of yoga, stretching and relaxation
for mom while playing games and bonding with the baby. Bring a water bottle.
